Welcome to Lange Asset Management. The goal of my firm is to help
investors improve their investment performance. Unlike other investment
advisory services which portray they have some secret formula or system
for beating the market my investment philosophy is based on investment
principles that are clear, understandable, and most importantly are
successful long term.
Most investment advisor services only talk about the times that their
investment recommendations made money. They give the impression that
they are never wrong. The truth is, there is no system, service, or person
that is going to make investment decisions that are going to make money
every time.
Long term investment success is determined by understanding what your
investment goals, needs, risk tolerance, and expectations are and then
implementing a disciplined strategy to achieve those goals. When an
investor understands what they own and why they own it they are less likely
to rash investment decisions based on short term market volatility.
Not understanding their investments is why many investors/speculators
tend make investment mistakes that can be detrimental to their long term
success. Many times these investors tend to chase yesterdays winners by
selling tomorrows.
I personally work with every client to determine what investment strategy is
the most appropriate. Together we determine how the portfolio will be
invested and why it is invested that way. I continually monitor each portfolio
and make any changes that are necessary to keep the portfolio invested in
accordance with our agreed upon plan.
